Drilling Fluids Australia’s products are used in a variety of applications every day, some completed projects we are particularly proud of:

• Horizontal Directional Drilling

Millbridge:
90 metre shot under 4 x lane Australind by-pass - 160mm conduit - swelling clays no stuck pipe.

Yallingup Area:
190 metre shot "A" class reserve (no relief hole permitted)
160mm / 110mm / 63mm combined package pullback - no loss of flow.

Perth Airport:
4 x 40 metre shots under main taxi runway - 160mm conduit – conducted during normal aircraft movements.

Perth CBD:
4 shots under 4 line rail crossing - 110mm conduit – no heaving/subsidence to rail head height.

• Waterwell

Pilbara:
Multiple production and monitoring bore holes with mud rotary - weighted and un-weighted systems - depths 700+ metres.

De-watering bores with DR using DFA foam system up to 24” casing.

Central Coast and South West:
Production bores - mud rotary 350+ metres.
